Receipts is a website with information about ways to earn money online. It's built to collect as little personal data as possible: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts.

When you visit the site
Hosting and server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When your browser loads a page, Netlify's servers process the technical data that every web request contains: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and keeps it only as long as needed for operation and security. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback.
No cookies, analytics or trackers. We don't set cookies, don't use analytics or advertising tools, and don't load fonts, scripts or images from other companies' servers.
Storage in your browser. Two features store data only in your own browser. It is never sent to us:
- Theme: if you switch between light and dark, your choice is saved in localStorage (key "theme") until you clear it. If you never switch, nothing is saved and the site follows your device setting.
- Match quiz: your answers are kept in sessionStorage for the current tab, so a reload doesn't lose them. Closing the tab deletes them.
Both are strictly necessary for features you choose to use (Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act), so they don't need consent.
Matching and CV text. The match quiz runs entirely in your browser. If you paste CV text, it's analysed in your browser's memory to suggest skills. It isn't stored and never leaves your device. We never see your answers or your results.
Share images. The "money-match receipt" image is made in your browser and contains no personal answers. You decide whether to download or share it.
When you contact us
Contact and correction form. If you use the form, we receive what you enter: your message, the page it's about, and, only if you choose to give them, your name and email address. Netlify (Netlify Forms) processes the form on our behalf. We use the data only to answer you and fix errors (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or steps you asked for) and delete it once your request is handled, at the latest after 12 months.
Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them once the matter is closed, unless we must keep them for legal reasons.
Links to other websites
Pages link to official sources, platforms and videos. Once you follow a link, the other website's privacy policy applies. Some links are paid referral links: the platform can see from the link address that you came from this site. We don't receive personal data about you from them; we may receive a referral fee if you sign up.
How long we keep data
- Server logs: as described under hosting.
- Messages and form submissions: until handled, at the latest 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To use these rights, contact (email address to be added before launch). You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority), or the authority where you live.
No automated decisions
We don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Match results are suggestions calculated in your own browser.
Children
This site is meant for adults. Most platforms described here require users to be 18 or older.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
