How to report an error
Use the contact form or the "Report an error" link on any entry. Tell us what's wrong, what it should say, and, if you can, a link that shows it. Platform employees are welcome too; please say so.
What happens next
- We check the report against the source, usually within a week.
- If we were wrong, we fix the page, update the fact's date and source, and record the change in the changelog with what changed and why.
- If a fact can't be confirmed, we downgrade its grade or remove it rather than leave it standing.
We don't remove accurate, sourced facts because a company asks us to. We do update them when the situation changes, for example when a lawsuit is decided or a policy changes.
